Therapy for individuals, couples and families.

Therapy offers a collaborative space to understand concerns, develop useful ways of responding and work toward meaningful change. BrainLab offers individual, couples, family and parent support.

Reasons people seek therapy

Begin with what you would like support with.

People seek therapy when emotional, relational or day-to-day concerns are affecting wellbeing or functioning. The focus develops from the concerns and goals discussed with the therapist.

  • Anxiety, stress or low mood
  • Trauma-related concerns
  • Grief and life transitions
  • Relationship or family concerns
  • Emotional regulation and coping
  • Identity, self-understanding or patterns that feel difficult to change

Therapy options

Care organized around the people involved

Individual therapy

One-to-one therapy shaped around the concerns and goals discussed with the provider.

Couples therapy

Therapy focused on relationship concerns, communication and patterns identified by the people involved.

Family and parent support

Support considered in relation to family needs, parenting concerns and the most appropriate people to involve.

Clinical approach

An approach selected for the concern and context

Approaches can include cognitive behavioural, dialectical behaviour, emotion-focused, interpersonal, EMDR and mindfulness-informed work. The therapist selects an approach in relation to the concern, the person and the goals of therapy.

Provider matching

We help identify an appropriate therapy option.

Tell us who is seeking therapy, what you would like support with and whether you prefer in-person or virtual care. We’ll explain the available provider arrangement before therapy begins.
