Assessments

Request an assessment.

Tell BrainLab what you would like the assessment to help you understand. Use this form for Ottawa, selected virtual Ontario, or virtual assessment in Nunavut. Toronto in-person assessments have a separate priority waitlist.

Inquiry form

Request an assessment

Tell us what you would like help understanding. This starts a review—it does not book an assessment or commit you to proceed.

Current assessment access

Most psychological assessments can currently be scheduled within approximately four weeks.

Availability can change and is not guaranteed. The proposed schedule is explained before you decide whether to proceed.

After your inquiry

What happens after you submit an assessment inquiry?

Submitting an inquiry starts a review. BrainLab will explain the proposed assessment plan, fees and scheduling before services begin, and you can ask questions before deciding whether you would like to proceed.

  1. BrainLab reviews what you want the assessment to answer

The team considers what you are hoping to clarify, the information provided, location and current service availability.

  2. We identify the appropriate next step

This may involve confirming a likely assessment, requesting additional information or explaining that another route may be more appropriate.

  3. You receive information before deciding

Relevant next steps, the proposed assessment plan, professional arrangement, fees and scheduling information are explained before services begin.

Not sure which assessment fits?

Use the Assessment Planner to explore possible starting points before contacting BrainLab. If you continue from Your Assessment Plan, you review every proposed field and choose what to add. Questionnaire answers and scores are never transferred.

Virtual assessment in Nunavut

BrainLab provides virtual psychological assessments for Nunavut residents when the required assessment methods are appropriate for virtual delivery.
