Learning-disability assessmentCollege & university
A psychological assessment can document findings and functional impact. The college or university—not the assessor—decides its current documentation and accommodation requirements.
There is no universal expiry date for a psychological assessment report. An institution may request current information when an older report does not describe present functional impact, the original question was different or its published documentation policy requires more. Ask the accessibility office what it needs before booking reassessment.
Keep the institution's written answer. Requirements can vary by school, program and circumstance.
BrainLab provides in-person psychological assessment in Ottawa. Virtual assessment is available across Ontario and in Nunavut where the referral question and required assessment methods can be addressed appropriately in that format.
The proposed format depends on the referral question, age and testing or other methods required.
Virtual completion does not guarantee that a college or university will accept the resulting documentation; the receiving institution sets its own requirements.
